As usual, there has bee a lot going on in Wales recently so we have picked out highlights below that we think will interest people staying at caravan sites North Wales region.

Kate and William Visit to North Wales – For people staying on caravan sites North Wales coast was the place to be for catching sight of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this week.  And if you happened to be in Capel Curig at the Towers Residential Outdoor Education Centre you would have seen Kate rock climbing and abseiling. Swimming Naked in Mountain Lakes – Would you join this lady swimming naked in the Lakes around Snowdonia. Take a look at this film which was presented at the Banf Film Festival this weekend. Brrrrr, a bit cold for us!

Adventure Holiday Destination North Wales – North Wales can rival anywhere in the world for thrill-seeking adventure breaks,  from flying at 100mph on a zip wire and mountain biking in the Snowdonia National Park to surfing at any time of the year at Surf Snowdonia. Many castles and bridges in Wales, including Caernarfon and Harlech, were lit up in the colours of the French tricolour flag this week out of respect for those who were caught up in the horrific Parish events. Read more here

Wales Rally GB 2015 – This year’s Rally went ahead despite abysmal weather throughout the entire 3-day event. However, it proved no problem for French rally driver Sebastien Ogier who battled strong gales and driving rain to romp home to victory. See the highlights here
